Hundreds of University Village residents have rolled up their sleeves and received the COVID-19-preventing vaccine that could save their lives. Some 97% of residents and 75% of team members have received the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.
“We’re grateful,” said University Village Thousand Oaks Executive Director Dmitry Estrin. “We’re happy to do our part to make sure that the community is protected.”
Throughout the pandemic, University Village residents have remained socially engaged while practicing appropriate distance and wearing protective masks. Both staff and residents are hopeful that through the distribution of the vaccine, they may be able to return to “normalcy.”
