High School Student Provides Free Computer Training to University Village Residents
THOUSAND OAKS, CALIF. — Kyle Gronich, a 17-year-old incoming senior at Oak Park High School in Oak Park, Calif., knows how to make his summer count. Gronich, a top student at Oak Park who also serves as president of the school's robotics club and plays on the soccer and track teams, is sharing his computer knowledge this summer with the seniors at University Village in Thousand Oaks, Calif. "Money talks," and the Budget and Finance Committee exists to talk about money as it relates to residence at University Village. There is no precedent at our sister communities for a Budget and Finance Committee to represent the residents in understanding the rather complicated financial operation of UVTO. Resident Leo Levy conceived the idea and, with the owners' approval, brought it to fruition in early 2009.
